Dietary Aide
HOURS: Days and shifts vary. Must be willing to work every other weekend.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provides cooks with needed items.
- Delivers and picks up patient meal trays in a courteous manner.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
- Stocks pantries and refrigerators.
- Follows safety procedures when operating all kitchen equipment. Ability to multi-task.
- Ensures daily strict adherence by kitchen staff of personal hygiene policies, practices, and standards.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS OF THE JOB:
- Requires standing and walking.
- Requires frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred but not required.
